Connetic is a clothing brand dedicated to expressing the art of the streets. Worn by gravity-defying pro skaters and those in pursuit, the brand is not only devoted to skateboarding, art, and fashion, but to a greater cause —supporting local talent. Mainland is a top specialty retailer in Northern California for skateboarding, surfing, and everyday action sport fashion. With 12 locations and an eCommerce store, their collection of apparel and sporting gear include trend-setting brands, such as Cookies, Nike SB, and Vans. Live to surf. Surf to live. Founded in 1958, the Doyle line of Surfboards are hand built and shaped from templates created by World Champion Surfer, Waterman and Hall of Fame Shaper, Mike Doyle. The brand continues to craft and design quality surfboards and standup paddleboards for water lovers all around the world.

To get the most out of their eCommerce store, Connetic partnered with Skratchpaper to review their operations and develop a marketing strategy to scale their e-commerce store. With 100+ brands showcased on their site, Shopify was recommended for its intuitive technology and ease of inventory management. We migrated Connetic including their parent company, Mainland and sister company, Doyle from WordPress WooCommerce. After configuring, restyling and reformatting their current theme to place the customer’s visual focus on the products first, we went to work on simplifying the checkout process and improving the 360 degree customer experience. The migration uncovered new business opportunities, an improvement in organic search traffic and increased conversion rates.
